Next step is painting the edges black. And after that, another hundred...and then another hundred... :D or something like this. Now i should have all the markers i ever need...for this army.

Firestorm Armada Battlereport

Had a game last friday against some spiders.

We played a 1000 points game "Hold the Waypoints". Setup as shown in the pic above.

Had some time to paint last weekend and made some progress on the Kedorian Battleship.

WiP-Shot: Infinity Marker II

Another night at the workbench and more stuff done.

Glued the printed markers on the wooden chips (marker came from http://inf-dice.ghostlords.com/markers/ ). Fitted nicely.

After the glue dryed, i took some black acrylic paint and painted the edges of the chips.

All done, the next game can come (tonight :) )

WiP-Shot: Infinity Marker

One of the aspects i like about our hobby is the DIY-approach for many of the surrounding themes. I always try to get game accessories as cheap as possible. :)

This time i tryed to get infinity markers for cheap. As i don't have leftover 25mm bases i searched for an alternative. And it should be something unique. So off to the hardware store and got me some ply wood.

With the help of a hole saw i got 25mm pieces and 40mm pieces. Some work with rasp and sandpaper

and now i have a ton of nice wooden bases.

Time to print some markers. :)
