WiP-Shot: Dreadball Tsudochan

Here is a shot from the current state of my newest dreadball team, the Tsudochan:

(sorry for the bad picture quality)

Their robes got some layers of grey. The "armour" will be golden. I made a brown (GW Mournfang Brown) undercoat, followed by the first layer of gold (GW Gehenna Gold). And the last step i managed in the time, the little one took its nap, was washing the armour parts (GW Agrax Earthshade). The last thing to do will be the skin parts, which i plan to make in a red color.

WiP-Shot: Deadzone Nastanza

So, after i am to lazy to post every wednesday, and sometimes i don't paint something in a week or two, i will post "Work in Progress"-Shots.

The first one will be a mini from my growing Deadzone mercenary collection, Nastanza:

Painted her a red armour with some violett gems and gave her a light blue skin. The rifle is not done yet, i am still unsure, what would be the best color for it.

Firestorm Armada Battlereport

Hi folks, played a game of Firestorm Armada last weekend. Wanted to try out the dreradnought, so we played a 1000 Points game of "Capture the Station" with me being the defender.

Workbench Wednesday

No picture today. And no progrss at the painting front either.

We have craftsman in our house, painting some rooms, so everything is put away to not get dirty with the wrong paints. :)

On a sidenote: I will have game of Firestorm Armada on friday and plan to take the dreadnought for its first battle. I will make some pics and write some stuff when the game is done.

Workbench Wednesday

Late, i know. :)

So, season holiday ist over and office work got me again. And the daily schedule is back, with time pockets for the hobby.

Here is my workbench:

On the left side is Nastanza, a Deadzone merc, waiting for her rifle to be painted. Then there is a Dreadball team of Tsudochan. Their robes are done, next will be the armour parts. As you can see, i started to improve my painting skills and now have a wet palette. And i really like it, don't know, why i haven't used this before. :)
